Dana Hysell

Dana Hysell is the Field Library’s Director. She earned her Master’s of Library and Information Science from Long Island University. Her lifelong love of libraries and connections has pushed her to expand her career into leadership. She is excited to tap into all of the potential in the Peekskill community along with the wonderful staff at The Field Library. She enjoys reading (like any good librarian), dancing, and spending time (outdoors or otherwise) with her kids which includes cheering on her daughter at softball. Email Dana or call (914) 737-7110.

Rosa Villa

Rosa Villa is the first human resources professional at the library, and she brings over 10 years of experience in her field. She earned her Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Mercy University and completed her undergraduate degree at Baruch College. Since joining the library in 2019, Rosa has made history as the first Human Resources Administrator at the Field Library. In addition to her HR role, she passionately moderates the Spanish book club at the library, El Rincón de la Lectura. Jose Diaz

Jose Diaz is the Office & Facilities Manager at The Field Library. During his time at The Field Library Jose has had a number of responsibilities and you will see him working all around the library. Jose prides himself in doing whatever needs to be done at the moment. He is a horror aficionado and can tell you about any horror movie. Frank Godino

Frank Godino is the Head of Adult Services at The Field Library. He earned his Master of Library & Information Science at Long Island University. He also holds a BBA from Iona College and an MBA from Pace University. When not working at the library Frank can be found either on the golf course or putting in volunteer hours for his favorite leisure activity – Little League Baseball. Chelsea Holland

Chelsea is the Head of Youth Services at The Field Library. She possesses a Master’s of Library and Information Studies from the University College Dublin. Chelsea believes in building a love for literacy and learning while having fun. In her spare time, she loves to travel and take photographs. Email Chelsea or call (914) 862-3299.

Ryan K

You can always find Ryan among the Books. She was a Pre-K teacher before beginning her career here at the Library. She loves seeing the joy in children when they get their first library card and dive into the adventures that books bring them on.

Sarah Scott

Sarah Scott is the Local History Librarian at The Field Library. She received her B.A. in History, M.A in History and M.S in Information Science at SUNY Albany. She enjoys rom-coms, DIYs, trivia, thrifting, and hanging out with dogs. Email Sarah or call (914) 737-4390.

Rachel Mandel

Rachel Mandel is a Children’s Librarian at The Field Library. She earned her Master of Library & Information Science from Syracuse University and has been part of The Field Library staff since 2017. Maggie Leung

Maggie Leung (she/her) is the Teen Services Librarian at The Field Library. She earned her Master of Library Science from Queens College, double majored in Cinema and English at Binghamton University, and has served as an AmeriCorps College Adviser to high school students. In her spare time, Maggie enjoys playing video games, reading webcomics, reading fan fiction & watching drag performances. Cristina Fagan

Cristina Fagan hails originally from Lisbon, Portugal.  After a career in finance, Cristina came to the library world because of her love of books and the community she serves, and is a full time circulation clerk in the adult room.  Cristina enjoys hiking, the arts, cooking, singing backup, helping patrons with Spanish translation and the interactions she has with our diverse community.
