Author Talk: Brian Vangor

Join local author Brian Vangor as he discusses his book, Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, in the Program Room.

In his book, Vangor covers the history of Indian Point, from the opening of Indian Point Park in 1924 to the final closure of the nuclear power plant in May of 2021. Vangor began working at Indian Point in 1980, fresh out of Manhattan College with a dgeree in Mechanical Engineeriing. In 1983, he received his Senior Reactor Operator's license and spent over 30 years in the control room.
