A detective in Alaska discovers that her husband and son, who died a year before, supposedly of accidental causes, might have been murdered.  Worse, their deaths may be connected to a series of other disappearances and deaths, which may be connected to a secret village where women and children hide from abusive men.  The detective will stop at nothing to find out the truth.
