Join us for an animated discussion of our August selection, The Resemblance, by Lauren Nossett.  Copies of the book will be available at the circulation desk.

One day at the University of Georgia, a fraternity brother is struck and killed by a hit and run driver.  Multiple witnesses to the event agree that the driver looked exactly like the victim and, when he hit the victim, the driver was smiling. Detective Marlitt Kaplan has her own ties to the university through her father, a professor, and she thinks she knows most of the dark secrets of the place.  However, as she delves deeper into this extraordinary situation, she realizes there are whole levels of corruption she's never even imagined.
