All her life, Frances Adams was convinced she was going to be murdered, so for decades she's kept tabs on everyone around her who might possibly turn out to be a murderer.  Then, when she's in her 60's, she is actually murdered, and her grand niece, Annie, thinks it should be easy to find the murderer with all that information, but what Frances collected only goes to show that everyone has a motive.
