Field Notes Book Group

The Field Notes Book Group will meet in the program room downstairs to discuss our April selection, The Confidence Men: How Two Prisoners of War Engineered the Most Remarkable Escape in History, by Margalit Fox.  Copies will be available at the Circulation Desk.

The Confidence Men, which is nominated for an Edgar Award for best crime writing of 2021, is a nonfiction book about two extraordinary men, one from England and one from Australia, who were imprisoned in a POW camp in Turkey during WWI, who managed to con their guards using a ouija board and pretend psychic powers to make their escape from the camp.
