Field Notes Book Group

Saturday, May 21, 2022 - 11:00am to 12:30pm
The Field Notes Book Group will meet at 11:00 a.m. in the Program Room downstairs to discuss our May book, Klara and the Sun, by Kazuo Ishiguro. Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk.
Nobel Prize winner Ishiguro is always surprising and always insightful. This book, set in the future, features an "Artificial Friend" who observes the world around her until she's purchased for a sickly teenage girl. As the very observant Klara becomes closer to her human friend, she becomes aware of the limitations of humans and the world they've made.
Join us for what promises to be an excellent discussion. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
