Field Notes Book Group

The Field Notes Book Group will meet to discuss our selection for July, Small Things Like These, by Claire Keegan.  Copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk.

A short but powerful novel set in a small town in Ireland around Christmas, 1985, Small Things Like These is a story of an ordinary man, Bill Furlong, who makes a terrible discovery at a local convent that forces him to reconsider his own past and the way the church controls the town, even to people's consciences.
