Nobody writes about Florida in all its weirdness like Hiaasen, and Skinny Dip is Hiaasen at his best.  A man who's helping a tycoon illegally dump waste into the Everglades suspects his wife knows what's going on and that she's going to turn him in. So he pushes her overboard a cruise ship in the Atlantic, assuming she's going to drown.  She doesn't. Instead, she lands on a bale of marijuana thrown overboard by some drug dealers being chased by the Coast Guard.  When she's rescued on shore by a former cop, she decides to stay dead and mess with her husband's head.  And that's just the beginning of this twisted and extremely funny novel.
