Join us for a lively discussion of our December selection, Mrs. Quinn's Rise to Fame, by Olivia Ford.  Copies are available at the Circulation Desk.

Mrs. Quinn, an ordinary older woman who's been married almost 60 years, has never done anything for herself, until one day she decides to take a chance and audition for the equivalent of the Great British Bake-Off.  To her surprise and pleasure, she makes the cut and starts competing.  Each recipe she makes brings back memories of her past, but she has a secret she's kept from her husband the whole time that might be forced into the light with her newfound fame.
