Field Notes Book Group

Join us for a discussion of our May book, My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry, by Fredrik Backman.  Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk.

When seven year old Elsa's larger than life grandmother dies, she leaves Elsa with a serious duty: delivering letters of apology to various people the grandmother has wronged over her life.  The grandmother is no ordinary senior citizen, and Elsa is no ordinary seven year old, and the quest Elsa takes on is a revelation of the breadth of her grandmother's life, and the amazing lives of the people Elsa has taken for granted so far in her life.  A funny, moving book, and a great read.
