Medicaid Waiver Programs: Why Choose One and How to Enroll in Care

 

In many cases currently in New York State, home care assistance is limited to 12 hours/week. Fortunately, there are (2) “waiver” programs that exist for those who need more hours or specialized services: NHTD, and TBI. Used in conjunction with the Consumer Directed Personal Assistant services (CDPAS), individuals and families are able to personalize their care even further. During this webinar, representatives from Community Care Home Health Services will explain, for each of these waiver programs, (a) who should enroll; (b) how to enroll; and (c) how to manage on an ongoing basis.
