New York Naval Militia Presentation and Promotion Ceremony

What is the New York Naval Militia? Come to a program and learn about this little-known naval component of the New York State defense forces. Founded in 1891, the New York Naval Militia is still active today. Captain Michael Perry will discuss the history of the New York Naval Militia and the most recent missions. The program will end with a promotion ceremony of Staff Sergeant John L. Eckhardt, Jr. to Gunnery Sergeant.
