Field Notes Book Group

Stephenson, who became Grand Dragon of Indiana and brought the power of the state under his and the KKK's sway, until he went too far and was caught by the criminal justice system.  A nonfiction telling of this story that reads like a great novel, A Fever in the Heartland illuminates a dark and mostly unknown period of American history.
